I have been playing and developing a passion for soccer since I was three, and I knew growing up that my goal would be to someday play collegiate soccer, while still receiving an exceptional education in the health/science field.
I would make a great candidate for your team because of my coachability, optimism, and motivation. These qualities can be found as beneficial in any given situation. Whether it is on or off of the field, I push myself to be the best version of myself that I can be. By continuously trying to improve, it often encourages the others around me as to strive to be better as well.
I am different from other recruits because many of my classes that I have taken are considered advanced classes for my grade level. Also, I am a part of several extracurricular activities in the school, a couple of them being the National Honor Society and Student Council. This upcoming year will be my second year of being the Secretary of my class through Student Council. Sports-wise, I play soccer for a club team called Midwest United and have been playing there for the past three years. Additionally, I run cross country and run track for my school. I have been on the Varsity team for all of the years that I have been a part of those teams. While doing all of this, I maintained all A's in my classes and currently have an unweighted GPA of 4.000 and a weighted GPA of 4.333. On top of that, I am currently ranked #3 of my class of 285 people. The characteristics of mine that I had listed earlier played an enormous role in my ability to commit to all of these activities.
