Samantha Coleman '23 Recruiting Profile

I started golfing at three years old and grew up competing in tournaments since the age of seven. Over the past thirteen years, I have made it my goal to further my golf career at the college level. I believe my biggest strengths in my game are my technique, potential, and competitive nature on and off the course. I think I differentiate from most players because I am eager to do everything possible to keep improving my game. Getting to play on a three-time state champion team gave me the opportunity to experience a competitive team atmosphere.  I grew up competing individually, and over the past two years, high school golf taught me to not only play for myself, but the pressure of wanting to be that much better so I can support my teammates out on the course. Over the past five years, I have continually dropped my scoring average by at least two strokes every year, and I hope to continue and improve that progression throughout my golf career.
