Katelyn Sanchez '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katelyn Sanchez. As a student-athlete dedicated to achieving success, I aim to join a collegiate golf program where I can continue to grow as a leader, excel in my studies, and represent the university with integrity and passion. As shown by my 4.0 GPA, I am a dedicated learner and find my studies very important. I believe that it is critical for both personal and athletic success and am determined to continue this in the next chapter of my life. I love to learn and will be open to all feedback provided by both coaches and more experienced players. Throughout my life, I have been performing in either musical concerts, playing clarinet or piano, competing at golf and bowling tournaments (outside of high school), and acting as a lead in a play. These experiences have helped me become accustomed to pressure and unnerving situations, which greatly helps me to be calm during important shots and events. I believe that I am a great fit for any University looking for a strong-willed, dedicated, and compassionate new addition to their team!
