In my younger years of life and even more now than ever I have been very passionate about everything I do. I stay committed to being the best version of myself everyday.
With that being said one of my favorite quotes by Rupi Kaur, a poet, is, "it takes grace to remain kind in cruel situations." I apply this piece of poetry to golf because it is not always easy and there will be difficult situations to face out on the course but I must stay level headed, focused, and determined to respond to these situations as best as I possibly can, with grace. This grace that I have built for myself has led me to becoming a very consistent golfer, additionally it allows me to become better each swing at a time.
Being the captain of my team I have to set an example for my teammates by: staying after practice to put in additional work, maintaining focus, and creating team exercises to build our skills.
Academically, I perform very well in school and have very good relationships with my teachers while also being President of my school's Engineering club and chair of committees in other clubs, mentoring underclassmen, and participating in many other school events.
