While most golfers start playing at a young age, I didn’t develop an interest until 7th grade. I joined the golf team and caught on quickly. That year, I earned a spot on the varsity roster and shot the round of my life at sections, which qualified me for the state golf tournament! After that, I was hooked! Since then, I have continued to work on my game and have participated in 5 state golf tournaments. I even earned All-State & All-State Academic honors.
Academically, I am a member of the National Honor Society, class president, and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career. While golf is a very important part of my life, I also enjoy playing volleyball and basketball. Through sports, I have learned to love teamwork and competition and I hope to continue my athletic career in college.
