Personal Statement
Hello I'm Katelyn! Something that makes me unique from other recruits is that I don't just focus on sports or academics and I don't just balance them. I put my heart and soul into making everything perfect or to my liking. My goal is not only to play college golf but to make my parents proud. More important then making them proud, I would like to make myself proud. One thing you should know about me is that I care about everyone and especially my teammates. While I'm only a freshman I hope next year to be the captain because I feel that this year I have improved my leadership skills. Another thing that makes me different from other recruits is that I love my teammates, but I also love a good old school competition. Besides golf, I like to spend my time volunteering, going to Friends Forever, and trying new foods. You should know that I love planning my future and that is why I'm reaching out to you, because I care about my future and how golf is involved!

- I have trained with Ty Armstrong at GolfTec for four years. We have dramatically improved my swing and will continue to do so. I go into GolfTec at least 4 times a week in the winter.

Yes. I was enrolled in APCS but they dropped the class. However, I plan on taking many AP Classes my sophomore year of high school.Awards and Activities
