I have been playing golf since I can remember, my first memory is my Grandpa teaching me to putt as he golfed his daily round. The sport of golf has provided me with constant practice and feedback to put together strokes and manage a course in an effective way to score the lowest round. Competing on the course has taught me more lessons about myself than anything else and brought me some of my greatest lifelong friends.
My goal is to find a team that will continue to better me as a golfer. I want to contribute to a team with my leadership skills, my good work ethic, and my positive attitude. I am dedicated to the game of golf; whether I am practicing putting, swing mechanics, or mental strategies. I pride myself in always giving 110% to everything I do on and off the course.
Being a student is one of my greatest assets. Reading the greens, figuring the yardage, and keeping composed are just a few of the ways I have taken my love of math and studies on the course. My goal is to be an engineer that comes up with solutions to help others. I started taking college classes in ninth grade and have maintained a GPA of 3.95, while being involved in concert choir, school clubs, and sports. I continue to take a very challenging course load, because I love the stimulation of learning. I know that my golf scoring average will continue to come down as I continue to work in the off season. I am excited to find a team where I can combine my passion of learning and golf!
