Alexis Miller '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis Miller. I attend Platte county High School in Platte City,MO. I am a junior this year and have played varsity all three years of high school. My average drive is 230 yards and my average score is 90 for 18 holes. My Freshman year I played number two behind a senior and have played number one since. All three years I have been 1st team all conference and 1st team all district. I went to state my sophomore year and now my senior year, placed second individually at conference my junior year and 3rd my senior and my team has placed second at conference two years out of three I have been here and we placed 3rd this year. Also, I play on the Kansas City Junior Tour. Last year I won the championship tournament for my division and am ranked number one in my division. I enjoy being on a team and having the support of those who I play with. I have been team captain for two years now and I enjoy helping the underclassmen. I take advice well and I enjoy getting better every year. I have always wanted to play college golf and am determined to get there. I am looking for a school with a good golf program that will help me get better and provide me with the support and encouragement that will help me become a better golfer. I am open to any size of school in any location of the country. I am looking to major in either Psychology or Middle School Education, particularly History. My athletic goals for the future are to play in college as a freshman. I have always had this as my goal for golf and reaching my goals is what I want to do. I am a very outgoing person and love being around people. I love my school and support it with pride by participating in many activities such as peer helping,prom committee, student council, Younglife and much more. I am on the honor roll with a 3.27 GPA and am in the A+ program. I also run track and placed second in the 4x800 at Junior Varsity Conference last year.
