Personal Statement

“As a student-athlete there are many goals and achievements that I work hard towards reaching each day. Academically I strive to maintain my 4.16 GPA; athletically I strive to continue to improve my game and lower my handicap. After high school I aspire to major in science with a focus on pre-optometry. I enjoy helping people and have a lot of patience for my fellow humans. After college, I plan to continue my education persuing my Optometry degree at UMSL.

Currently, my number one ambition is to reach my full potential academically, by continuing to dedicate myself to academic studies. I want to be the best student I can be. I also have several goals athletically; I currently work with a private trainer in order to continue gaining flexibility, strength, speed, and agility so that I can be the most consistent powerful player on the course. I have numerous strong characteristics that set me apart from average high school women’s golfer. I am a leader on and off the course, with strong morals and values. I believe that when I show empathy towards those that struggle to make the right choice, they will look up to me and follow my leadership. Whether its studying for a test or working on my game, I take what I do very seriously and will always give 100% towards what I strive to achieve.

I am humble and will always continue to work towards my goals as a student-athlete. I believe by using these key points that I will succeed and become someone I have always dreamed of becoming, a successful collegiate level women’s golfer, while studying to be an Optometrist.”

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
