I have been playing golf for three and a half years and started as a freshman in high school. I originally joined the golf team with the intention of learning a few things so that I could play some rounds with my grandfather, but as time went on, I developed a love and passion for the sport that I hadn’t anticipated. Growing up with two Marine officers as parents has made leadership an integral part of my family. Striving for the best of your capability has been my family’s motto for as long as I can remember, and my parents have helped me kindle this idea in music, academics, athletics, and character. The time that I have spent over the past 12 years playing music while also being in school and sports has made my time management and organizational skills adept for anything thrown my way. Also, with being in a military family, I have been able to travel the world and immerse myself in many different cultures. This has shaped who I am as a person and the relationships that I make with others. I pride myself on my ability to help others in school as well as extracurricular activities, and this was what sparked my interest in psychology. As a member to your golf team, I would show leadership to support teammates, and hard work and humility as a competitor.
