Sydney Taake '21 Recruiting Profile

Golf is my passion and my goal is to find a Division 1 University where I'm able to study engineering and compete in golf. I was late to the game of golf as I started my golf career as a Freshman in High School and found I really liked the sport. After my Sophomore season of High School golf, I hired a personal golf coach who taught me a new golf swing.  I have made so many improvements and I'm looking forward to the potential that my game has going forward. Today, my summers are consumed with practicing golf and competing in Nebraska Junior Golf tournaments. I consistently finish in the top 5 of these events.  I love to travel, whether it's to different golf courses or going to different countries. My favorite course so far would have to be Kiawah Island Ocean Course and my favorite countries are Switzerland and Austria. I'm extremely disciplined when it comes to school and golf.  I lead by example and help bring a positive presence to my team.
