Personal Statement

Despite discovering my passion for golf only three years ago, it has become a defining aspect of my life. My ultimate dream is to play golf at the collegiate level. What sets me apart from other recruits is my unwavering determination. Golf clicked with me in a way no other sport had before, and I felt a deep connection to the game. I am eager to put in the extra hours of practice and hard work required to become a better player.

Upon transitioning to a boarding school, I found myself in a situation where there was no golf team. However, I did not let that discourage me. Instead, I took the initiative to start the first golf club at my school. My goal is to transform this club into a full-fledged golf team, and I am dedicated to making it happen.

If given the opportunity to join your team, I hope to serve as an inspiration to other girls who may be interested in pursuing golf. I want to show them that with passion and dedication, they can achieve their dreams in any sport they love. Passion is a quality I bring with me wherever I go. I am genuinely enthusiastic about golf, and this shines through in my dedication and work ethic. I am always willing to give my 100 percent every day, both on and off the course. I am a well-rounded individual. I understand the importance of balancing academics and athletics. Throughout high school, I consistently maintained a strong academic record, demonstrating my ability to manage my time effectively and excel in both areas.

My determination, passion, and commitment to golf make me an excellent candidate for your team. I am a student-athlete who has found her calling in this sport and is willing to put in the extra effort to reach the collegiate level. By recruiting me, you would not only gain a dedicated and hardworking player but also someone who can inspire others to pursue their dreams. Thank you for considering my application.
