I started golf in the 9th grade and have loved it ever since. I was doing basketball as well but decided in the 10th grade to put that aside and focus mainly on golf. I haven't been playing long but I started playing Varsity level my freshman year. Most of the high school girls that I compete with have been playing for many years and I am able to compete with them. I haven't had a lot of coaching but I stuck with it and worked hard to catch up. Some of my good qualities are that I am a quick learner, very coach-able, and persistent. I am very respectful to all of the coaches that I have ever had and they have always told me that I am a good listener as well. I have barely scratched the surface of what I can do in golf and I know that I have lot of potential to do really good and have my scores go down by a lot in the near future. In the past few tournaments I have had a lot of interest from other coaches due to the distance of my shots, mainly my drives. I am always one of the longer drivers in the tournaments and feel that as I gain skill with my iron shots, my scores will continue to drop. I am currently working on gaining more consistency in regards to aim and precision on the greens. I want to be the best that I can be because I love golf and want to see how far I can go with it through hard work and determination.
