Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Grace Kochan and I am a senior at Scotia Glenville High school and I want to introduce myself. I have been playing on the boys varsity team since 8th grade and the past 2018 year we achieved Foothills Council champs. On a personal note my 18 hole average is a 85 and I have qualified for the boys sectionals the past four years This past year I was the only girl who qualified in the Foothills section. More recently I have played in the first section II girls sectionals and state qualifiers . I placed fifth with a score of 89 and have qualified to play in the NYSPHSAA state tournament in June of 2020 .
I have a strong desire to play college golf in addition to my academic pursuits of becoming a nurse. I have a solid GPA of a 91 and take my study’s just as serious as my golf. I work hard in school to maintain on the high honor roll every quarter in school.
