My name is Hailey Stegemann. I am currently a junior at Tennessee Tech University, I will be entering the transfer portal on May 1st. I am coming off a wrist surgery that has caused me to take this semester off and rehab at home. I have already made a lot of progress and have been cleared to start swinging again. I have been bothered by this injury my whole college career, so I have only played in one tournament. I have learned a lot and matured while at Tennessee Tech, but I will be looking for a new place to play.
I am a very hard worker, and I would bring a lot to a team because of my experiences and my work ethic. I have a new outlook on the game of golf, and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to continue to play. I want to succeed at my next school and make the team a championship-caliber team.
I think what makes me a good candidate for your team is my outgoing personality, my work ethic, and helping my teammates improve. I love being a part of a team and building close friendships with my teammates. What makes me different from others is my determination to improve and win. I respect adults, coaches, other players, and the course. I also know that academics are critical. I have always tried my best at school and sports. Academics are important to me, and I work hard for the grades I get. Getting good grades and succeeding on the golf course are very important and make me proud of myself. I have been on the dean's list at Tennessee Tech 5 semesters in a row and received scholar-athlete of the game in 2022.
