Personal Statement

I have been playing golf since I was 5. I fell in love with the game through The First Tee program. There I learned the core values of golf (Courtesy, Confidence, Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, Judgment, Sportsmanship. Responsibility, and Respect), I try to live by these values both on the course and off the course.

I'm as serious about my education as I am my golf game, which is reflected in my GPA (3.7), I believe in working hard and playing hard. I am a team player and coachable. I would like the opportunity to play at collegiate level and continue to grow as an athlete while obtaining my college degree.

I was asked to be a part of the COGA Team at the 2023 Joe Hasse Cup at Firestone Country Club. This is an annual event with a competition between 18 top players from the Toledo Junior Golf Association, the Central Ohio Golf Academy Tour, the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Tour and the North Coast Junior Tour. Our team, COGA won the event, and I tied for 7th place.
