I am a very hard working person, and whenever I want to achieve something I will do everything in my power to do so. I have been determined since freshman year that I would go to college and golf during my time of study. I plan to do just that at whatever university fits right for me.
My freshman year I started golfing. I was scared I had never golfed before then, I mean maybe once or twice with my dad but that was all. It was all very new to me, but once I started I got the hang of it pretty quickly. It was rough my freshman year, low 60's high 50's. But since then I have drastically improved from where I was. By my senior year I was in the running for player of the year, obtained First Team All NBC, and I broke a school record, and then broke my own school record again.
I have never been more thankful for my parents and coaches who have helped me along the way. Without my parents I wouldn't have had any golf clubs to play with or a car to get to practice. My private coach Martha Mallott, helped me in so many ways I can never explain. She mentally helped me in the game of golf, in the ways of not thinking about to last shot but just moving on and thinking how can I still make par. She especially improved my golf game in more ways than one. I can't thank anyone enough :)
