I am currently a junior at Tallmadge High School in Ohio, graduating class of 2020. I began golfing as a freshman and have made great strides each year. I have achieved career low High School match scores of 32 (August 2019), and 74 (August 2019). I also qualified for districts as an individual my Junior season by shooting 79.
2019 was my first summer of playing competitive golf in the spring and summer. I challenged myself with every tournament, new courses, traveling, and longer courses than ever before. I recently competed in the Optimist Jr National golf tournament at Trump Doral in Miami Florida, with my low round being an 80 on the Golden Palm course (6,031 yards). Earlier this summer I finished third at Avalon Lakes Country Club while competing on the Hurricane Jr golf tour, shooting rounds of 81 and 78.
I am a very coach-able player who accepts feedback and instruction and can make adjustments very quickly. Academics are also very important to me, as I currently carry a 4.2 GPA and am a member of the National Honor Society. My goal is to play competitive golf in college while receiving a top education.
