I always enjoyed playing golf starting at age nine, however, never took a full interest until high school. This is when my passion began. I started to spend my Saturdays at the golf dome hitting balls and working on my putting for hours. Though my dad started teaching me at a young age, high school is when I decided to start taking golf seriously and asked my dad to take lessons to improve my game. Through these lessons, my passion continues to grow with each swing and hoping of a golf career or at least at playing at the next level (college). I enjoy leading my varsity team and being a person they can look up to and count on for direction, whether it be helping their swing, giving them drills or just basic support- I enjoy helping them. Since our team lacked leadership, I take charge in being the go-to person. I'm very proud of my growth. As a freshman, I held the last spot on the girls varsity team, and worked my way up to earning the first position on the team. My confidence increased when the Twinsburg boys varsity golf coach tried to recruit me to play for his team for a couple matches throughout the year, however, I wanted to remain with the girls varsity team for the remainder of the year, since the season was already half way completed. If the opportunity presents itself again, I would welcome it and embrace the challenge.
In addition to my passion playing golf, I also enjoy hanging out with friends, I also play Frisbee golf, enjoy jogging, swimming, and traveling with friends and family.
