Playing college golf has been a major goal of mine since I can remember, it started from gaining exposure from tournament golf. As of now I am a two sport athlete that plays basketball and golf. I would consider myself both hard working and competitive in the classroom, and on the basketball court. My work in the classroom has afforded me the honor of being on the Principals List while in high school. I also enjoy volunteering at the First Tee, which teaches younger kids to not only how to play golf but, about making good life decisions and encouraging “The Nine Core Values”. The Nine Core Values are meant to represent many values in life connected with the game of golf. During high school I would very much like to attain my goal of keeping my GPA at a score of 3.5 in order to pursue my ultimate goal of playing college golf at a competitive level. My current interests are in Psychology and Journalism with a possibility of becoming a professional golfer after I acquire my four-year degree. Once I’m committed to a task or goal I become very determined to complete it to the best of my abilities. I am a team player that leads by example and work ethic. In my opinion you should always be the first one there and the last one to leave. Communication between my team mates and I would be most important in order to develop a chemistry like relationship to encourage each other and better ourselves together as a team. I played varsity golf and basketball as a ninth grader, and currently on the the varsity golf team as a tenth grader.
