I am Franca Polla and I am in the graduating class of 2020 at Sunset High School in Portland, Oregon. I am dedicated to establishing myself as a top junior golfer and know that I have the athletic capability and competitive nature to do so. In 2013 I moved from The Netherlands to Oregon due to my dad's work. This move has given me the opportunity to further my golf career and this is when I decided to fully commit myself to golf and my game has already made significant improvements. I hold nationalities of the Netherlands and Croatia.
Academically, I hold a 3.714 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and am enjoying the challenge of taking IB courses in my junior year of high school. Along with those challenging classes I am also studying hard in preparation for ACT and SAT tests.
I love being surrounded by kids and helping others; because of that, I decided to be involved in LinkCrew at my high school and I help coach the kids program at SKOUT golf academy alongside Cole Gick.
Starting off at a young age I have always been very interested in the human body. Cancer had a big impact in my life, and I have always been drawn to figuring out why certain things happen to different people. Therefore, one of my biggest aspirations is to take a pre-med major as an undergraduate student, and eventually graduate from medical school to become a doctor. While taking these challenging courses, I am very driven to be the best athlete and reach the full potential in my golf game.
