Kayla Langer '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Bethel Park High School in Bethel Park, Pa. I began playing golf four years ago. I am a four year varsity player and have earned three varsity letters. I have played golf in open tournaments giving me experience in both match and medal play. I am largely self taught having minimal professional instruction. My golf game is solid while my skill set is raw enough for improvement. I would like to attend a small university that offers a BS in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. I am a good student and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while working part-time during my sophomore, junior and senior years. I have also played slow pitch softball on recreational and competitive levels. I was a slow pitch umpire for the recreational youth softball teams for three years. I was a member of the Bethel Park stage Crew for two years. I enjoy music, reading and spending time with friends and family. I love animals and the outdoors. My desire is to play competitive golf in college, developing my game and myself while earning a degree.
