I got somewhat of a late start into wrestling at the age of 12. And I know as of now after my sophomore season my record is less than stellar, compared to some of the more elite kids. After qualifying for WPIALS (regionals) my first two years of varsity, and yet coming up short for states both years, absolutely lit a fire. I also feel like everything really started to click for me this off season up until quarantine. Recently I've been doing everything I can while still being quarantined which includes; the Young Guns virtual wrestling program and lifting weights. I realize I'm not an upper tier kid yet, and it's not going to be easy to get to where I want be academically and athletically. But I'm willing to put in the work and do whatever it takes to get there.
