Christina McGinnis '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christina and I am currently a senior at Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. I did not start my golf career until later than most. This will be my fourth year competing competitively. I have played golf all four years of high school. I have participated in many leagues and I have played in many tournaments that are local to me. I am the 2020 Treasure Lake Club Champion. I have also played in the District Nine Golf Championships as well as the West Regional Competition. In 2019, I placed 3rd at the District Championship. I am  District Nine Champion for 2020. Another tournament that I have competed in is the Central Counties Junior Golf Championship and placed first in that tournament carding an 80. I have worked hard to get to where I am at right now. Each year I have made steady improvement.  I have put in the work and have a strong work ethic to want to improve each and every day. I have taken lessons to improve my game while golfing every day. I would love to continue my golf career throughout college to gain the experience and to overall make me a better golfer. I think that my hard work and dedication to the sport makes me a good candidate for the team. I have been a 4.0 student my entire high school career and with that comes hard work. I have always worked hard to achieve my goals and I wish to continue to work hard to reach my ultimate goal: play collegiate golf.
