Hello I am Erin. Ever since I was eight years old I loved golf. Initially I started with groups lessons and played in tournaments called Junior Team Golf. Every time I went there, I loved picking up the club and swinging away at the ball. The coach who taught junior team golf saw something in me and encouraged me to start taking private lessons. Then, I started to do local tournaments for both Jr. Team Golf and US Kids. Granted, I wasn’t the best at the time since I just started but that didn't discouraged me. After keeping my head up and growing in great strides, I have become into the golfer I am today. I go to bigger tournaments now that are world wide and play for my high school varsity girls golf team. Spring, summer, and fall of 2017-2018, I competed in US Kids and was tour champion for spring and summer of 2018. I have also competed internationally in Canada for US Kids tournaments placing 3rd and US Kids regionals at Pinehurst placing 7th. I was the #1 freshman on my Varsity Golf Team as a freshman qualifying for WPIAL 3AAA for Fox Chapel Area High School. Overall, my handicap continues to improve with my commitment and self determination.
I am a very committed person and finish what I have started. At heart, I am a loyal person. Integrity, responsibility, and kindness are my core values in life. I am a hard worker and have the ability to adjust in tough situations. My 5 years of playing piano as a hobby and countless buckets of golf balls I've hit at the driving range show my drive and determination to grow and succeed at whatever challenge comes my way.
My collegiate goals are to earn a scholarship at a top notch school and play golf. I am an honor roll student and achieving high honors. Currently, I am enrolled as a freshmen in accelerated classes for both math and science. I am involved in an environmental club which has helped the school become more green and improve the community. I am the treasurer for the class of 2022 for fox chapel for student government and a team player whom works well with others. I set goals and hold hold myself accountable to achieved desired results. One of my goals is to major in Pre-Med and play collegiate golf. I am open to anywhere that I find and interest in or takes an interest in my. I love golf which is my passion and I excited to see what future opportunities it will open for me.
