Hello,
Thank you for visiting my profile!
My name is Grace Windfelder and I'm currently a freshman at Oakland Catholic in Pittsburgh, PA and will be graduating in 2024. I'm extremely goal driven and have been playing golf since I was seven years old. I spent two months in the winter of 2021 training at The Mike Bender Golf Academy where I focused on improving all aspects of my game, including both mental and physical areas.
I believe that I would make a good candidate for your team for the following reasons. First, I take my school work very seriously and currently have a 4.0. I work very hard in the classroom and on the golf course and was awarded the rookie of the year award on my varsity golf team. I'm not sure what I want to study in college, but I really enjoy science and math. I also believe that by the time I graduate from high school my golf game will be at a point where I can help your team succeed. Also, I have a very good attitude and my coaches have told me I'm very coachable, I work very hard and I have a positive energy.
Outside of golf I have other passions, including dance. I've been dancing (ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary) at a very high-level since I was three years old. Dance has taught me a lot of things that translate to golf including discipline, the importance of focus, composure and working as a team. Other than dance, I'm also involved in student council and also perform community service hours. I love art, cooking, my family and my two dogs.
I'm excited about this journey and look forward to learning more about your golf program and how I can make an impact.
