Golf has always been an influential part of my life. I started golfing at the age of four and have continued to further my love and success for the game. My freshman season, I qualified for the District Tournament and was awarded to the Second Region All-Star Team. Sophomore year, I was placed on the First Region All-Star Team and, once again, competed at Districts. Unfortunately, my junior year I sustained a shoulder injury, which did not allow me to complete for the remainder of the season. Golf has not only taught me good manners and sportsmanship, but also leadership, time-management, and respect (which all apply to my life outside of the sport). With everything I have learned, I progressively strive to do better athletically and academically along with helping others out in the community through various clubs and organizations. The greatest quality about this sport is that I will always have it for the rest of my life. Golf is a sport that is not just played on a course but is equivalently played in everyday life, too.
