Allison Bane '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Allison Bane and I am a current Junior at Powdersville High School. 

I have been playing golf competitively since the 7th grade.  I have grown exponentially as a person from being a part of a high school golf team that supports their players on and off the course. Golf has shown me the importance of humility and time management. It has taught me that in order to improve in any aspect of my life I need drive and commitment. I am proud to be a very involved student in all aspects of my high school career. My Christian beliefs and family values have influenced me to become the person who I am today.  However, I find that student leadership molded me into an extroverted and involved student. When I am not on the golf course, I am involved in serving as Student Body President (2015-2018) or volunteering service hours for Beta Club. I have worked diligently to be one of the top ten academic students in my graduating class.  

I am looking for a university that can challenge me academically while furthering my passion and improving myself as an athlete. Some unique characteristics that I possess are persistence, discipline, and integrity. What sets me apart from other student athletes is my ability to balance both high standards academically while maintaining competitiveness in golf.
