I grew up playing golf with my father as my coach who pushed me to be the best golfer I could be. We trained daily and I was always at the range if I wasn't playing in a tournament. When I was in high school, my father passed away and I felt like I lost my will to play for awhile. I eventually built up the courage to join the high school team (both men's and women's) so I could play year round. Once I graduated, I felt like college wasn't for me especially since I didn't have my dad around as my main support. Although it's taken me 4 years after high school to realize it, I want to play golf again on a competitive level because it is what I love to do. I picked up the clubs again for the first time and was still able to shoot low to mid 70s. I know with more consistent practice, I can give a real shot towards my ultimate goal of becoming a professional golf player on the LPGA.
