Through golf, many leadership opportunities were opened to me. I had to learn how to adjust having three different head coaches within a span of three years. My seventh grade season closed with me playing my very first varsity meet, while my eighth grade year consisted of taking many places at various meets. Through hard work and determination I was able to shave off 20 strokes in a season.
My freshman year, I turned my team around, being given team captain title. My leadership and dedication led to our schools first girl golf team at state in over 17 years. As a young team with all of us being freshman and one seventh grader, I led my team to a sixth place finish. My sophomore year I was able to help contribute my team to fourth place finish. My goals for after high school are to go into physical therapy or human resources, and find a college that challenges me to become a better person and athlete.
