Golf is a sport that has been in my life for a very long time. However, I did not decide to pick up the game until 2018. I have always been a very competitive basketball player, but when I finally decided to join my high school golf team, I realized how much fun the sport can be. Although I chose to start playing 3 years ago, I did not decide to take it very seriously until about a year and a half ago. Even though Covid brought a lot of bad to the world, it gave me a chance to really improve and work on my game. A year and a half ago I shot in the mid to low 50s per 9 holes. With a lot of work and determination, I am now shooting low 40s with a few mid to high 30s as well.  I am very coachable, athletic and want to get better and believe I am a great candite for college golf. My work ethic, determination, and drive is unmatched and I know I can benefit a college program academically and athletically.
