Jocelyn Nevarez '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf competitively for four years and have been fortunate enough to be invited to the Southern Texas STPGA Championship. This experience has helped me grow as a person and made me realize how far hard work can take you, but passion can take you further. It led me to re-focus my efforts to become a solid golfer capable of playing at the college level.

I was fortunate enough to be a part of a strong team and program, recently medaling in 3rd place in our 2021 UIL State Tournament. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and leadership. I am looking for a program that would be a good fit for me athletically, as well as, academically. I believe I not only have the talent and fundamentals to compete at the college level, but the character, work-ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. Watching and observing collegiate athletes has opened my mind up to more knowledge of the amazing world of competitive golf. I am ready to play on your team!
