My path to a college education has been filled with many bumps. The path has not always been clear, but I've kept my eyes opened and focused on the road ahead. My life experiences have not only helped me with my decision to become a special education teacher, I want a chance to help make the world a better place, the opportunity to make a difference, and the privilege of having more than a high school diploma.
All though I have only been playing golf for three years, participating in golf gives me an edge. As an athlete, I have learned to interact with many different types of people, work together, and win. Striving for excellence teaches you about your capabilities and how, with practice they can expand. Golf has given me tremendous energy and has made me feel good about myself. It has made a difference in my life.
I have been able to maintain a good GPA and want to ultimately find the right college. I tend to focus my time on outside of school volunteering, family, and golf. I hope to become a great role model and make my parents proud.
