Amanda Maletich '19 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Canada and have lived in Florida and Texas most of my life.  My extended families are located in New York and Ohio.  I am motivated to play golf, excel in academics and I am not afraid to leave my comfort zone.  I am open to an education and a golf experience in any State as I have travelled around the USA with my parents and I am comfortable with new places.  I am interested in a school with a good Business program.  I have improved very much with my golf game over the past 6 months.  I have been working with Kelli Kuehne (former LPGA professional) during this time for 2-3 days per week.  This summer I only played tournaments from 5800 yards plus and averaged 85 with a low round of 77, over the next year I will average in the 70s from this yardage, my commitment and work ethic is unmatched, I currently practice a minimum of 30 hours per week while going to school and 50 hours plus per week in the summer.   I am in the top 7% of my class of over 500 students in HS and this will continue to improve.  I will compete this year on varsity at the Texas 6A level and will continue to play high level tournaments and post my scores.
