Hi I'm Lexi DeLorimiere, a senior at Flower Mound High School. I have been playing golf for 2 years. Through my freshman year, I was a 3 sport athlete, competing in fastpitch softball, basketball, and volleyball at a 6-A high school in Texas. I am very dedicated to the game of golf. My practice includes working out twice a week with a personal trainer and going to the course daily, along with private coaching sessions. As the youngest of 4 children in my family, I have learned to be a teammate, stand up for myself, and be flexible. Always looking to improve, I work diligently at becoming a better golfer. I have a strong desire to continue improving and playing at the highest level.
My greatest accomplishment in golf was being awarded Rookie of the Year on the Flower Mound High School golf team. Having only played golf for a year at that time, that was a huge success. In addition, I fought for and earned a spot on the current varsity team which placed 3rd in the Texas 6-6A District.
Being a well-rounded student is an important goal of mine. Therefore, I've been involved in various school activities and community service projects during my high school years. For instance, The Flower Mound Sports Network has been another important piece, where I produce and commentate live sports broadcasts. My current GPA is 3.6. Being involved with varsity golf, FMSN, and school work has taught me the importance of prioritizing my time while performing at a high level.
As well as golf, I have many other interests. I have a passion for film and photography, as well as music. When I’m not on the course, I love hanging out with my family. Over the summer, I play ultimate frisbee on a local league with my brothers.
