My name is Jillian Jones. I am a junior at Forsan High School. Throughout my life, I've been asked the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Then, I would have answered a doctor ballerina, but now I would say a collegiate golfer.
I actively participate in different activities in school, such as Student Council, UIL, band, and of course, golf. Outside of school, I am a member of First United Methodist's youth group and church. All of these activities have pushed my academics and morals as I have grown up. In college, I plan on getting my degree in Biology to have a career in Occupational Therapy.
As for college, I have set forth goals that I plan to keep. My goals are to play collegiate golf, maintain a high academic status, and grow in my faith. These goals are what push me to succeed now and for the future ahead.
After finishing college, I plan to continue growing in my integrity, leadership, and faith. After all, golf is a honor sport made up of strong morals and a decent swing. After playing golf for five years, it has taught me many lessons and I want to see what I can learn in my journey through collegiate golf.
