Growing up, my whole family played golf. Because of them,I've been surrounded by an excellent support system. My family has always supported my endeavors and once I decided I wanted to commit to playing golf at the college level, my family has done everything they could to help me achieve that goal. I owe much of my success as a golfer, and as a person, to them. I am a very hard worker and believe that taking initiative, as well as putting in hard work will lead to success, not only on the golf course but in the classroom. However, when you work at something, it must be done in the right way to ensure you're getting the most out of the time you're putting in. Although I try and contribute as much time and effort as I can to make myself a better golfer, I prioritize my academics and make sure I am challenging myself in the classroom by taking courses that allow me to grow as a student, like AP classes. I feel that my work ethic would make me a great candidate since I work to excel in both golf and academics on a daily basis and would be able to contribute to the team as well as my university.
