My name is Sydni Leung and I am a junior on the Plano Senior High School Varsity team. I will be graduating June 2019. I've lettered the past 3 years, and my sophomore average was 75.90. I improved by 6 shots since my freshman year.
I started playing golf when I was about 9 years old. When I was younger I played volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track. Golf has always remained a constant in my life with the support and encouragement of my parents. This sport has taught me so much about myself and some very important life skills. My lowest tournament score to date is a 67. The goal this year is to challenge myself in higher levels of junior tournament play.
I believe that I bring a lot to the table and will be able to contribute to the success of any team. I am highly motivated, hardworking, competitive, and down-to-earth. I am constantly learning about myself and evolving to becoming a better player every time I play and practice. I work hard on and off the course, and I want to be surrounded by a team that does the same.
