Taylor Rich NCSA Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations include getting out of my comfort zone to meet new people and expand my mind by overcoming obstacles in academics, athletics, and personal relationships. My goal as a student-athlete is to be the best I can be on the course and in the classroom, working hard to be the best for my school. In my collegiate years, I want to demonstrate my resiliency and strive to make myself better for my team and my personal goals. Throughout my high school career, I have received a number of awards demonstrating my academic ability inside the classroom, my athletic abilities in the game(s), and the personal relationships I have built with my peers. I have been voted by my peers for 3 years to be the Vice President of Student Council, an FCA leader, and Class Favorite. On my cross country team I have been awarded "Eagle Pride" by my coaches and teammates for 2 years. Recently, I have been voted Captain of the Varsity Cross Country team at Salado and National Honor Society President.
