Hello!! My name is MIriam Dumes. I am goimg into my senior year at Clements High School.Whereas, I am a part of the Global Studies Academy which I focus on German and international-cultural studies. My academy has furthered my desire to pursue International Business in college. This year will be my fourth year on varsity golf. We have placed in the top teams at reginals and advanced to state the past three years. My high school experience has prepared me to to find a healthy balance between golf and academics so that neither is neglected. My Lady Ranger golf team has also taught me what really means to be apart of a golf family. I hope I can find a college that is not only a great fit for me athletically and academically but a team that I can feel at home.
I pride myself on being a long header and playing agressive on the golf course. Risk and Reward!! Through my almost 10 years of golf I have not only worked to perfecting my golf swing but also understanding the rules of golf. I believe the only way to truely be a good golfer is to understand and learn all aspects of the game. I look forward to college where I can further my journey as a student athlete and find my new golf family.
