I am a goal oriented person, who believes perseverance is the path to reach objectives. As a current junior student at The Woodlands High School (TWHS) in Texas and a golf player, I am interested to continue developing my golf skills at college. I am doing pretty well academically, currently taking mainly pre-AP courses at the high school. I was born in Venezuela, place in which I started playing golf since I was nine years old. I played in the Venezuelan golf association all around the country, FVG, (Federacion Venezolana de Golf) for three years. Later I moved to Mexico and also played in the Mexican junior golf association, MJGA, for one and a half years. I moved to Texas where I have been involved in golf from 2011. I have also participated in multiple international tournaments in Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico. For the past three years I have been in varsity at TWHS, which is consistently ranked one of the top 5A high school program in the state of Texas. I am currently on the top 5 of the team; My goal for college is to get enrolled in a division I or II that allows me to strengthen my golf talent, at the same time be able to pursue either an engineering career or a nutritionist career. I believe that both athletics and academics career; can go hand by hand and be able to reach my ultimate objective, which to play golf at a professional level. My immediate goal is to get an athletic/academic scholarship in a recognized college. I feel that I have the abilities and attitude to be part of a competitive college team.
