Mia Belz '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi , I am a Junior at McMullen County in Tilden, TX. I started playing golf during my Freshman year. My school does not have a very big golf team but, I have qualified for State every year. My Freshman year I qualified as an individual and last year we qualified as a team. Competing at that level was exciting. We are a 1A division school in a small rural town. I play as often as I can even if it's a round on the weekend with my brother and dad. I joined the South Texas Junior Golf Association tour last summer and have continued competing in tournaments this year. I enjoy the competition, it has helped push me to lower my score and gain more tournament experience.. I would like to play golf for a college that I match up well with and as close to home as possible but will not rule out other options.
