I have been golfing since I was 11 years old. I remember early on feeling a passion for the sport. Playing golf gives me a sense of confidence. I have and will continue to train for tournaments and look forward to the opportunity to continue golf in college. I am strong in my short game, especially putting. My average drive is 220 yards. I enjoy working with different coaches. I appreciate hearing different critiques. I am very serious when it comes to golf but, I always try to have a positive attitude. I've committed to playing year-round and I am excited to see how I have improved due to playing over the winter.
In school, I am a straight-A student. I have a 4.34 GPA that I work hard to maintain. Next school year I plan to continue my leadership positions in many extracurricular activities. Some of these including, the golf team, FBLA, Atheltic Leadership programs, PEER, and volunteer opportunities. After my sophomore year, I played at the VHSL Girls Golf States. (First female golfer to play in states at John Champe High School) My 2021 goals are to improve my game, play in competitive tournaments, and continue to work hard on golf and academics.
Golf for me is a way to get away from any and every complication in life. I am prepared to work my hardest to achieve my dreams with golf and academics.
