December 2012Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Erin. I live in Alexandria, VA and am in my senior year. I have been playing competitive golf for about five years, but have been playing since I was little. My 2013 season is winding down. I competed in Virginia State Girls High School Championship for the fourth consecutive year on Oct 28 and 29 and finished in 9th place against the best high school players in Virginia. Highlights from my summer schedule include finishing 2nd in the MAPGA Player of the Year standings with two first place finishes and a scoring average of 75.3 for six events. Academically I am very strong. I had a weighted GPA of 4.35 after my junior year and scored a 32 on the ACT. My dream is to play college golf at a school known for academic excellence. I know I will be able to make a great contribution to any golf team and the overall campus community.
