Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Tinleigh Rusher and I am currently a senior at Strasburg High School in Strasburg ,Virginia. I have been on the varsity team since I was in the 8th grade. Along with being the first female golfer at my school. I have been playing competitively since entering high school.

I have invested in private instruction and strengthening training since the start of high school, in and out of season. I love to spend my free time working out and hanging out with my friends and family. In school, I challenge myself in dual enrollment courses to earn college credits. I currently have a 4.18 GPA.

I love the mental part of the game because it not only helps me keep my head straight playing golf, but while playing basketball too. I can’t wait to see where my golf career takes me!
