My goal is to attend a college that will allow me to grow academically and socially for the preparation of a career. My college goals are to major in Finance and attend graduate school to earn an MBA and Law Degree (MBA/JD), as well as play women's golf.
My love for the game of golf began when I was 3 years old. As an African American female, I was inspired to share the game of golf in my community with other African American Females and minority students. I have encouraged others that have never played golf to try the game. I am a 4.0 student ranked in the top 5 of my class. I am also a dual enrollment student at a local community college.
I played Jr. PGA Golf for 4 years. My career goal is to become an Investment Banker for a major financial institution. I am an excellent recruiting candidate because of my personality, my ability to motivate, and inspire others. I enjoy people from all walks of life and enjoy making new friends.
Finally, I was diagnosed as a Type I Diabetic at the age of 6. I didn't let it stop me from achieving many goals at my current age. I would like to be a female golfer and spokesperson for young women with disabilities. My friends, family, teachers, coaches, and community have supported me, and I want to succeed academically, socially, spiritually, and in the golf world of sports to be able to give back and be a role model for all young girls and women.
