I have been playing golf since I was 8 years old. My whole family plays and my sister Madison is currently attending college on a golf scholarship. She has been an inspiration to me to try my best to use golf as a vehicle to attain a quality education. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life and am used to playing in harsh weather conditions but would love to play where there is more sunshine than rain!
As far as how I play I would say the strength of my game are my irons and I am pretty strong mentally. I don't let one bad shot throw me off the rest of my game. My putting has been has been improving a lot since I changed putters recently and now I feel much more confident on the greens. My driver has always been consistent and I currently drive in the 225-240 range but am looking forward to gaining strength through maturity as I'm a late bloomer and still growing. In a team setting I am known to get along well with everyone, am competitve but have fun.
I would really enjoy being in a program where I would be an asset to the team and get the opportunity to have good coaching and be pushed to a higher level. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead of me both playing collegiate golf and in the classroom.
