In 6th grade, after 9 years of intense, disciplined classical ballet (with my last 3 years spent) at The Oregon Ballet Theatre, I switched gears and started weekly year-round golf lessons. I've developed an immense love for the game of golf, have pushed myself to improve and have shaved an average of 10 strokes off for per year since I've started. This improvement was exemplified in the OJGA Bob Allard Memorial, a major at Rose City Golf Course in Portland, OR. In 2014, I shot 110, 108 (this was my first tournament ever). In 2015, I shot 93,95 and this past summer I shot 78,79 to tie for third in the Girls Open (12-17) division.
2016 - freshmen year
Camas Girls Golf had an extraordinary, record-breaking season taking 1st in League and Districts and 2nd at State. I am very fortunate to have contributed, ranking 32nd in Washington State for my freshmen year. Honors included:
2017 - sophomore year
Camas Girls Golf continued success with taking 1st in League and Districts. I was our Greater St. Helens League 4A district champion and our team took 2nd at WA State 4A Championship. I improved over my first year, tying for 3rd in the state (shooting 75, 73). Sophomore honors included:
Columbian Newspaper All-Region Girls GOLFER OF THE YEAR

My natural drive for improvement and sense of discipline does not stop at the golf course. I work hard in the classroom and have been nominated twice from teachers for the "Pride Inside Award" at CHS which recognizes a student's initiative, ability, and personal integrity. One of my teachers had this to say about me: "Emma brightens up the room with her sunny disposition and dazzling intellect. She consistently displays a high level of engagement with content and contributes to her peer's learning by posing thoughtful questions and sharing valuable insights. Her diplomatic and warm disposition makers her appreciated by staff and student alike." Additionally, "Emma's bright and eager attitude ensure an outstanding experience. The higher level thinking she demonstrates daily is matched only by her award winning personality. Sincere and humble, she is a model for all of her peers."
My goal is to play Division I golf at a school that supports student-athletes in the classroom and on the course.
