Kali Rowe '25 Recruiting Profile

When I was younger, my parents would always tell me “You should play golf because it’s fun and you can play it the rest of your life,” but I wasn’t interested until the spring of my freshman year. My friends and I decided to play golf because the coach was one of our favorite teachers and it was something to do in the spring. I now understand why a lot of people love golf. I think golf is really just life in a sport form. It teaches you how to keep your composure when things go wrong. It also teaches you how to socialize and have a good time, but stay focused.

My goals for the future are to play golf in college, major in communications, minor in marine biology and political science, and play in the LPGA. I have always been a hard worker, a leader, and a fast learner. I have always been able to understand what is being taught and apply it to the sport I was playing at the time. I’m confident that my score and my golf game has a lot of room for growth, but I have been putting in the work it takes to improve. I think I would be a great addition to your team and I hope you think so, too!
