Rie Kim '22 Recruiting Profile

I joined the JV golf team with knowing little about the game because my father encouraged me to play as an experienced golfer himself. I grew to love everything about golf and it became part of my identity. I can't imagine going to college and not continuing to play golf. My dream is to attend a selective D1 university and study journalism on the pre-law track while hitting balls after class. My determination and hard work to become a sophomore varsity player this year have allowed my skills to grow exponentially as I practiced every day during the summer and weekends during the school year. I am a motivated student and a goal-oriented athlete who can't wait to pursue my passions at the collegiate level!
